Self Academy at crea

In December 2015, Sandy spent two weeks teaching filmmaking to 50 young women in Jamshedpur, India at CREA's first-ever SELF Academy (Sports, Empowerment, Leadership, and Freedom for Young Girls), a residential camp for young women to learn skills that build their sense of agency and self-confidence.

Sandy is directing a non-fiction media project with CREA, the feminist human rights organization that organizes SELF Academy, after having filmed with the participants of the Academy in December.
